It can happen if you go too fast or aren’t careful, and occasionally it just happens for no apparent reason when you’re first starting out, but it typically shouldn’t be common if you’re using lube, warming up properly before, and not going too rough for the level of ability you currently have.
In general, a little bit of blood isn’t a sign of any major injury, probably just a very small tear that will heal in a day or two. I would suggest stopping whenever there’s a bit of blood and taking a few days to heal before doing more anal, just to be on the safe side and to avoid risking it getting aggravated more and potentially taking longer to heal.
