Reddit: Questions About Anal

1. Do you get poop on your partner?

2. Do you develop anal incontinence?

3. Long lasting issues from too much anal sex?

To which another Reddit user responds:

More anal enthusiast than anal only, but I’ll take a stab at these:

1. Do you get poop on your partner? Not on purpose (unless he’s into that ?), but no matter how well you clean out, accidents will occasionally happen. Like everything else related to sex, communication is key, and knowing the limits of your body is a necessity. Good diet and establishing a bathroom and cleaning routine can help immensely.

2. Do you develop anal incontinence? Absolutely not. The anal sphincter is a muscle, and much like any other muscle in the body, it gets stronger with use, not weaker. I have learned what it feels like to relax my bowels, so I can warm up faster and worry far less about pain (initially, anal would hurt if I didn’t take time to warm up with plugs and toys but I can take a dick with no prep now), but I’ve never lost control of my bowels while not having sex.

3. Long lasting issues from too much anal sex? Only if you consider orgasms to be a bad thing ?. Anal feels great, makes me cum faster (and harder), keeps sex interesting, and somehow remains taboo (ass to mouth still makes me feel like a filthy whore). I love it!

Forum: Easing My Way Into Anal Only

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking this forum for a while and finally joined. I’m in my 30s in a 2 year D/s and loving/romantic relationship with a man. We have historically had anal only occasionally due to his large size, though I’ve had anal throughout my whole adult life since age 18. However we’ve been doing anal a lot more lately (thanks to wearing butt plugs all day) and introducing some orgasm denial and teasing into our dynamic and I’ve never been more turned on in my life. We dirty talk about anal only but he says he still wants to use my vagina sometimes too. He feels anal can be a hassle because he has to wash himself after. I always douche and there is almost never a fecal mishap so maybe he will get over that. Anyway perhaps this is meant to be fantasy only but it’s a strong and very arousing one for me.

After an encouragement to try going ass to mouth with him after sex in order to make him feel like he doesn’t need to clean up as much, she responds:

Well coincidentally last night my man suggested I suck him after he was in my ass and when I did, he was so happy! It turns out we were both doing research into the health and safety of the practice, unbeknownst to one a other. It wasnt gross at all and I’m pretty sure this will make him enthusiastic about doing anal all the time since oral is his #1 fave.

Reddit: Cleaning Before Anal

Are that many people doing a lot of prep before anal? Almost every thread I read there is talk of preparation, enemas etc..

My wife and I have been AO for 6 years now and I don’t think there has once been any sort of preparation on her end

He gets an assortment of responses, a selection of which are included below:

We are anal only, with my gf in vaginal chastity. We only do anal once or twice a week and she always gets enema when I decide to go condom-less. We have sexualised enemas itself and I administer it to her from time to time. I can’t even comprehend the idea of condom-less anal without proper prep.

Same here, no special prep. It’s extremely rare for there to be any mess when we have anal. Unless I’ve just had exceptional good luck with anal sex, I think the risk of mess is pretty overblown in most people’s minds. Obviously avoid doing it when there is something amiss like a stomach upset etc but we’re at it multiple times a week and I can’t remember the last time there was the slightest issue.

I’ve been AO for a long time and my prep is generally just so oil before hand. A good diet is the best for avoiding incidents.

Message: Colonics/Enemas Not Working as Effectively

Ana: Hi. I want to know if any woman in here who has done only anal sex for more than 3 years has stomach issues. Me and my partner have anal sex 5 days a week and everyday I am doing colonics to be clean. For a month now i have noticed that it doesn’t work so well anymore. I prep myself and when we have sex something happens and we get dirty and when we have sex my stomach sometimes hurts. It is someone here that can relate to my story? I really can use some advice . Thank you.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having digestive/hygiene issues that are affecting your ability to enjoy anal. That’s something that can sometimes affect people, even if they’ve had no problem before. The causes can vary, and there are different things to try, but it will generally get better in time.

  • It’s possible that you have been impacted by a stomach virus or something similar which is affecting you at a lower level and that you need time to recover, especially if you’re noticing any other digestive issues. You could talk to your doctor about the issue and see if they can offer any assistance.
  • If you’ve made any dietary changes recently, that may be a factor. Try adding more fiber to your diet, whether through fiber supplements or natural dietary fiber. This can make a huge impact. Even if it hasn’t been an issue before, adding fiber is usually a positive thing for an anal only lifestyle.
  • You may consider backing off on the enemas somewhat—even if it wasn’t an issue before, for some people they can cause more of a mess or throw off the balance of healthy bacteria that help with the digestive process.

For more information on the above, see our guide to anal hygiene and how to have clean anal sex. It has additional details about fiber supplements and more. Good luck, and I hope everything works out for you and you’re able to get back into a clean anal routine!

Article: The Dirty Details Of Anal Sex

So you want to try anal sex, but you’re freaked out by the probably inevitable reality of poop. That’s totally understandable, it’s something that can be present during anal sex, and it’s not exactly glamourous. But rest assured that it’s not usually that big of a deal. “A common source of trepidation about anal is that it’s dirty or messy due to the proximity of the anus to fecal matter, but this tends to be an overemphasized concern,” Dulcinea Pitagora, a sex therapist known as the Kink Doctor, previously told Refinery29. In Pitagora’s opinion, the repulsion factor of anal goes beyond the hygiene concerns and taps into our culture’s obsession with hiding body fluids and odors. So what if some ends up on the condom? Sex is messy. It might just be something you have to deal with if you’re interested in anal. But still, the presence of this unwelcome guest happens less often than you’d think.

Message: Anal Only Helps Avoid Bladder Infections

Anonymous: According to Wikipedia, “in young sexually active women, sexual activity is the cause of 75–90% of bladder infections, with the risk of infection related to the frequency of sex.”

It sounds to me like those infections could only occur when the penis is in close proximity to the urethra, as is the case with vaginal sex.

Conversely, a sexuality focused exclusively on the anus, with careful avoidance of the vagina and urethral area, would greatly reduce the incidence of such infections.

That seems highly likely, and corresponds with what I’ve heard from talking with some women who are anal only—UTIs were much more common for them with vaginal sex, and have largely gone away since shifting focus to anal sex and going anal only.

Of course, one must still take care with hygiene from anal sex, but the increased distance between the urethra and the anus can help significantly, and women who have anal sex regularly tend to have a better handle on anal hygiene overall than other women.

One more of already so many reasons that anal sex is superior and that anal only is the best way to go.

Why You As A Man Should Give Up Vaginal Sex

Much of the content on this blog is oriented to women, or those who receive anal sex. But just as important are those who are giving anal sex to their partners—if they aren’t interested in being anal only or feel they still need vaginal sex, it’s hard to make an anal only lifestyle work very well!

In fact, when asked why they haven’t gone anal only women yet, women interested in the lifestyle often answer that if it were up to them, they would, but that their partners still want to have vaginal sex some of the time. Seems surprising, right? The conventional wisdom is that men all want anal sex and that it’s women who don’t, but the reality often is that many women are more open to anal and even to going anal only, but their male partners are more sexually conservative or just think that they’ll miss something or be limited by excluding vaginal as an option.

The reality is that while everyone is different, most people find that after going anal only for a while, they don’t actually miss pussy much. Anal offers all the pleasure and more, combined with increased aesthetic appeal, stronger intimacy, plenty of opportunities for fun variety, and unique benefits like natural birth control. Unlike vaginal, anal is something that gets more fun the more you do it and done right, never gets boring. Anal only couples often talk about how before they went anal only, sex had gotten boring, but now even decades after going anal only, it still has a strong spark that excites them.

Other common concerns include hygiene and the need for preparation before sex. With some simple dietary adjustments and a basic cleaning routine, the former is fairly well mitigated, and preparation can be kept fairly minimal as well with a frequent anal play and sex routine as well as the use of butt plugs. Most such complaints result from having too little anal sex, not from having it more often.

Give it a try for yourself and find out: go anal only for a month or two and commit fully to the experience while you’re in it: you’ll see before long that giving up vaginal sex and going anal only is well worth the initial effort.

Establishing a Daily Anal Routine

One of the best things that you can do to develop a firm foundation for yourself in the anal only lifestyle, or just to better enjoy anal, is to adopt a daily anal routine. If you’ve had any struggles with discomfort or pain from anal, one of the biggest causes can be going for days or weeks between anal play or sex.

By making the commitment to do daily anal in some form, not only are you making yourself more anal-centric as a result, you also start to immediately benefit from the increased anal activity. Your anal muscles remain more relaxed from frequent use, which makes anal easier as a result, and in turn lets you do it even more frequently. It’s a positive feedback loop that just makes anal consistently better and better.

More anal, not less anal, is what makes anal better and easier. Just like anything else, practice makes perfect.
